‘Tis the season to be jolly! Why you ask? Well sure, holiday fever is already in full swing, but more importantly there are a ton of awesome shows that you won’t want to miss – from living legends like Chrissie Hynde and Fleetwood Mac to the best players in hip-hop such as Murs and De La Soul. Be sure to put these concert tickets on your wish list so that your family, friends and co-workers know what you actually want. Dec. 1 — De La Soul — House of Blues Sunset
Legendary NY hip-hop trio De La Soul are touring in celebration of “25 Years of De La Soul.” You can bet their epic rhymes and beats from classic hits such as “Me, Myself and I” will be lingering in your head long after this show is over.

Dec. 3 — Molotov — The Regent

Dec. 3 & 4 — The Return Of The Aimee Mann Christmas Show with Aimee Mann, Ted Leo and many Special Guests — Largo
Alt-rockers Aimee Mann and Ted Leo have teamed up as the band, The Both, and now they’re coming together again for two magical nights of Christmas music, original songs, video, sketches, and special musical and comedy guests. It will be naughty, nice and everything in between!

Dec. 4 — Angel Olsen — El Rey Theatre
The enchanting indie-folk rock songbird Angel Olsen has captivated us before with her pitch-perfect voice and mind-blowing performance that could probably bring most audiences to silence and/or tears. Dec. 10 — Tune-Yards, Cibo Matto — Wiltern
We saw Tune-Yards crushing it live with a high energy performance earlier this year and couldn’t be more excited that they’re back. The group is touring in support of their new album Nikki Nack. Not to mention eccentric Japanese duo Cibo Matto are also on the bill. After this show you can probably die happy.

Dec. 11 — The Icarus Line — Echoplex
Los Angeles punk rock/post-hardcore band The Icarus Line have been kicking ass and taking names since the late ’90s. The band is touring the West Coast in support of their newest EP Avowed Slavery, released this Summer via Agitated. Supporting acts are Zig Zags, Zodiac Death Valley, Neo Globs, and one of our personal favorites Death Valley Girls.

Dec. 11 — Ryan Adams — Fox Theater
Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams is in such high demand that he has added a stop at the Fox Theater in Pomona this month after coming off a hot, sold out show in Santa Barbara earlier this year. Expect to hear tunes of his new self-titled album, out now via his own label PaxAm.

Dec. 13 — Yung Lean & Sad Boys — The Regent
18 year old Swedish rapper Yung Lean is making a much anticipated stop in Los Angeles with a headlining performance at the newly opened Regent Theater in downtown. Touring now in support of his 2014 album release, Unknown Memory. Supporting act is Gravity Boys.

Dec. 14 — Cosmonauts — The Echo

We last caught Malaysian pop-folk singer Yuna lighting up the Twilight Concerts at the Santa Monica Pier this Summer with her soothing vocals, empowering lyrics and charismatic performance. We are beyond excited that she is back in town. Supporting act is indie disco queen Gavin Turek and Dead Right.

Dec. 31 — Tyler The Creator — Club Nokia
Perhaps the most infamous and recognizable member of hip-hop collective Odd Future, hip-hop misfit Tyler, the Creator, will be taking the reigns and turning up the heat with a headlining show at Club Nokia this New Year’s Eve. If you wanna get wild and crazy, this is the place to be! Supporting act is DJ Billy Jole.
