New Orleans based indie-folk singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco has announced a headlining date at The Orpheum on Wednesday, March 18th. She is hitting the road in support of her 2014 album, Allergic to Water, released on the label she founded, Righteous Babe Records. Her rapid-fire guitar picking, memorable, poetic lyrics and unique vocal stylings have garnered her a strong fan base over the 20+ years (and 20+ albums!) that she’s been making music. Expect to hear old fan favorites, possibly as far back as her 1990 self-titled debut, up to the newest jams from Allergic to Water. Whatever songs she ends up playing live, you can bet that you will come away with a most memorable live music experience!
