Long Beach’s Vince Staples is on the rise in 2015. As one-third of the Hip hop group Cutthroat Boyz, alongside fellow California rappers Joey Fatts, and Aston Matthews, Vince Staples has announced a FREE headlining performance at The Echoplex on Friday, January 16th. The show presented by Converse Rubber Tracks will include supporting act, Antwon.
We last caught Vince Staples live at Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival where him and Earl Sweatshirt put on a very agro set. Considering he’s so tight with the Odd Future camp, we won’t be surprised if there are some special surprise guests added to his Echoplex show.
Staples released his debut EP, Hell Can Wait on October, supported by the singles “Hands Up” and “Blue Suede”. We’re expecting something great in 2015 from the budding rapper! Stay tuned.
