Warpaint have shared a new song titled “No Way Out”. The song has been played numerous times live, but it has yet to be recorded until now. It sounds like the final cut of this dreamy jam is more lively with a bit more of an upbeat tempo from what what was usually heard at live performances.

As noted in our review of Warpaint’s recent gig at The Roxy, “The setlist might be the same some nights, but the band is capable of playing a wide range of their songs with varying arrangements. On Sunday, “No Way Out” had a different opening and many of the songs had more beefed up solos than their studio-version counterparts.”

“No Way Out” was written by Warpaint guitarist/vocalist Theresa Becker Wayman, and produced by Warpaint with Jake Bercovici.

This song is the first in a series of new songs that Warpaint will release this year. The track will be available in March as a digital single b/w another new track titled “Riot”.

Warpaint have a organized a benefit show this Saturday (YAAAASS!) which will support music in public education with all proceeds benefitting Youth In Rock for John Marshall High School in Los Angeles. In March, the band will hit the road for some date in Europe and the UK. You can find more tour dates below.
