The Indigenous Australian musician Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, aka Gurrumul, will be headlining the El Rey Theatre on Wednesday, May 6th. Its incredible to know that this artist was born blind, has never required any assistance, and yet is capable of playing drums, keyboards, and guitar. As a result of two successful albums, Gurrumul has performed for the The Queen of England, President Barack Obama, and The Prince of Wales, to name a few. Come experience this true artist as he sings ballads about his love for his country, spirituality, and identity.
