Laying down those infectious disco-pop vibes, nice and thick, Mystery Skulls (AKA Luis Dubac) steamed the Echoplex this past Friday. Blending all the illustrious elements of soul, disco, r&B, and pop—Mystery Skulls gave fans at the Echoplex a dance party that won’t be soon forgotten.
Mystery Skulls’ debut album Forever recently dropped via Warner Bros. Records on October 27. The 11-track album is a tantalizing menagerie of beats and rhythms built to make you dance. And dance the Echoplex did! The packed crowd grooved along to songs like “Ghost,” “Hellbent feat. Snowblood,” “Magic,” and many more. As Mystery Skulls’ first headlining gig in Los Angeles, it was a total success. This wunderkid had no problems filling the room with dancing bodies. And judging by the looks of all the action, we see many great things percolating in Mystery Skulls’ future.
