Just a few months ago, Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo) shared a flirty new song titled “Annie”. As the first taste of music from Neon Indian in four years, naturally, fans were left with an insatiable craving for more; more music, new album details, tour dates, and more, more more. But fans didn’t get anything after “Annie.” Fast forward three months and Neon Indian has followed up “Annie” with the release of his sensational new single “Slumlord.” Drenched in 80s synths, sexy groove tones and Palomo’s soft vocals, “Slumlord” will have you dancing to the moon. It’s most definitely a summer jam. You can listen to it below.
“Slumlord” is just one of 14 songs featured on Neon Indian’s forthcoming album VEGA INTL. Night School, which is set for release via Mom + Pop on October 16. In addition the new jam, Neon Indian has announced new tour dates. Neon Indian will kick off in Mexico City on August 21, hit up FYF on the 23RD and will close uP in Philadelphia in November. No Los Angeles venue dates have been announced, but we’re sure he has a show lined up that will be announced after FYF. Stay tuned!
