October 12 — Echo in The Canyon with Beck, Fiona Apple at Orpheum Theatre
KCRW’s Echo in The Canyon marks the 50th anniversary of the SoCal folk-rock scene. Beck, Fiona Apple, Jakob Dylan, Cat Power, Regina Spektor and Jade (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) will be performing classic hits from the likes of The Byrds, The Beach Boys, The Mamas and The Papas, The Association and more. The Frights

October 11 & 12 — Jaime xx at Shrine Expo Hall
We’ve seen Jamie XX capture the adoring attention of fans before and now the English music producer/DJ/remix artist is back in Los Angeles to do it all over again. This rising star of the electronic music scene released his solo album In Colour earlier this year via Young Turks and it’s been climbing various music charts with catchy singles such as “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)” and “Loud Places,” ever since. October 14 — Misterwives at Belasco Theater
