Los Angeles saxophonist Kamasi Washington is living proof that jazz is NOT dead. The bright and ambitious musician released his 174 minute aptly-titled album The Epic earlier this year, which is of course, nothing short of epic. Washington is also backed by a 10 piece band and with their support they’re bringing jazz to a whole new evolved level. You’ll feel the earth move under your feet when this sonic earthquake shakes Club Nokia to its core on Thursday, December 10th. Legendary underground producer, DJ and Low End Theory regular Daddy Kev supports.
