One of our favorite rising synthpop groups BROODS have just given us a taste of what is to come from their upcoming sophomore album, which is due for a Summer release.

The New Zealand sibling duo Caleb and Georgia Nott have dropped a video for the song “Free,” which makes us anxiously anticipate their new record all that much more. We loved their debut record Evergreen, which dropped in 2014, and they always deliver a great live show.

The new song kicks right off with Georgia’s impressive vocal range. Caleb’s dark synth stylings are ever present and the video shows Georgia as she tries to escape some sort of terrible virtual reality experiment.

If you want to catch them live in Los Angeles, they open for Ellie Goulding at the STAPLES Center on Friday, April 8.
