Another FREE Los Angeles summer concert series worthy of your attention. Curated by KCRW DJ Anthony Valdez, City Beats will make its way to Downtown Los Angeles this summer at FIGat7th, as Arts Brookfield brings the outdoor space to life. Showcasing up-and-coming acts across a colorful palette of genres. Get ready to summer soak your ears with tunes from hip hop and R&B to new jazz, Latin and more.
Each concert night at City Beats will be opened by none other than Valdez himself, followed by a guest DJ and then onto the evening’s main event, the headlining act. After the performances wrap, guests will have a chance to meet the musicians.
New to this year, fans will be able to sip on outdoor drink services as well as tasty dining options. Whether you want to listen to some new music and shop, or dance to the guests DJs’ mixes and enjoy an al fresco dinner, City Beats as FIGat7th has it all.
City Beats at FIGat7th in Downtown Los Angeles is free and all-ages. The concerts will take place on select Saturdays from 4:00 – 6:30PM, and will kick off June 18. This is a non-ticketed, no reservations event. Come early, stay late, make a day out of it.
