Poolside

Is that another free summer concerts series in Los Angeles? Why, yes. Yes, it is. Without a doubt, Los Angeles is the place to be for free summer concerts. Adding another one on to this fruitful summer season, KCRW and the Hammer Museum have announced the lineup for Disappear Here: Music Made in L.A. Celebrating the music of Los Angeles acts, this year’s four part series will feature Poolside, Peanut Butter Wolf, Ceci Bastida, TOKiMONSTA and more. View the full list of dates and performing acts below.

Disappear Here: Music Made in L.A. will kick off July 7 with performances by Poolside and Carlos Niño & Friend, along with DJ set by KCRW’s Aaron Byrd. All shows are free, all-ages and will take place every Thursday this July in the Hammer Museum’s outdoor courtyard.

Arrive early and make a dinner show out of it. Happy hour with food and cash bar starts at 6:30 p.m., KCRW DJ sets start at 7:30 p.m., and live music starts at 8:15 p.m. Additionally, the museum’s gallery hours will be extended to 9 p.m. We highly recommend you take a look at the Hammer’s museum-wide exhibition Made in L.A. 2016. The third installment of the Hammer’s biennial exhibition, the exhibit is all about Los Angeles artists and focuses on L.A. as creative hub.
