Another exciting attraction is coming to our fine city of Angels; actually, it’s already here. OUE Skyspace LA will make its public debut this Saturday, June 25. Located at the iconic U.S. Bank Tower, Skyspace LA is California’s tallest open-air observation deck. Not only will thrill seekers be able to take in 360-degree scenic views of Los Angeles, but they will also have the opportunity to take a ride down the Skyslide. Boasting an elevation of about 1,000 ft., if you’re up for it, you can slide down an all-glass slide from the 69th floor observation deck.
To celebrate Skyspace LA’s arrival, a grand opening block party will kick off Saturday, June 25 at 10 a.m. The block party is FREE, all-ages and will run until 11 p.m.. The party will feature a live performance by Los Angeles hip hop icon, Snoop Dogg! Also on the bill are Far East Movement, Jessica Sanchez, Niykee Heaton, and Raquel Rodriguez. The music begins from the moment Skyspace LA opens its doors, with main acts performing in the afternoon.
Additionally, guests 21 and older can wet their whistles in the specialty beer garden. The block party will also feature a variety of tasty food trucks and a community tent area.
The Skyspace LA block party is free to attend, but if you want to visit the new observation space and ride the Skyslide you’ll have to purchase a ticket. Tickets are priced at $19 for daily admission, $30 for VIP admission, and $59 for the SkyPass. You can purchase tickets via Skyspace LA’s ticket page.
