Los Angeles indie pop group, Saint Motel have unloaded a delightful new single titled “Move.” Kicking off with a funky soul-clap, “Move” takes you back to the 70s roller disco days. Even the visual companion—which arrives as a 360° Virtualizer—drips of luscious 70s vibes. Watch it in your iPhone, and as you move your phone up and down, left to right, you’ll enter a virtual, digital disco.
It’s great to see bands making the most out of their music videos with new virtual technology. It really brings a pleasurable new type of viewer-meets-user experience to the realm. Saint Motel’s new album, saintmotelevision arrives October 21 via Elektra recording group. The album is the band’s full-length label debut, and was recorded in Los Angeles with production from Lars Stalfors (Cold War Kids, Matt & Kim) and Tim Pagnotta (Walk The Moon) among others as well as Saint Motel’s own A/J Jackson. And what’s a new album without a tour!? Saint Motel will embark on a hefty U.S tour this September kicking off in San Diego on September 14 and wrapping up in New Orleans on October 29. Saint Motel will perform a hometown show at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles on September 16!
