January 27 & 28— Sleep with The Melvins at Fonda Theatre
Stoner doom band Sleep is scheduled to play two back-to-back shows with doom metal band The Melvins! Since the band’s inception in 1990, all they hoped to achieve was to “Make something that was like something you had never heard/felt before even if you had heard/felt it before. January 27 — Prof at Echoplex
Minneapolis based rapper Prof derives his sound from, “a history of hardship and partying.” Now with three albums and three mixtapes under his sleeve, Prof has announced his Time Bomb Tour in support of his latest single “Time Bomb.” The two month tour will feature acts Novyon, Metasota, and Willie Wonka. January 27 — Girlschool at Bootleg Theater
