Rising star, Julia Jacklin is enamoring music-lovers left and right with her lulling voice and storytelling lyrics. The 26-year-old Australian native will headline an intimate show date at the Bootleg Theater on Friday, April 14. With a wholesome sound rich in alt-country and indie-folk musings, it’s no surprise Jacklin calls Australia’s Blue Mountains her home. Her words paint a touching imagery just about as beautiful as the rugged terrain of the Blue Mountains.
We last caught Julia Jacklin at her LA debut opening for Julien Baker at the El Rey this past August. It was quite the stimulating performance to say the least; she is a must-see live.
Julia Jacklin is touring in support of her debut album, Don’t Let The Kids Win, out now on Polyvinyl. Grab the album below. Jacklin’s Spring Tour kick off in Los Angeles with additional West Coast date in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. View more tour dates below.
Tickets to Julia Jacklin at the Bootleg Theater are priced at $12-$14 and the show is 21 and over. Tickets are on sale now. Supporting Julia Jacklin at the Bootleg are Hand Habits and Christian Lee Hutson. You can purchase your tickets via the link below.
