Dead Kennedys 2017

The Dead Kennedys have announced a Los Angeles concert date at the Echoplex for Thursday, July 20. It’s been a couple years since we’ve seen the iconic punk rock band take the stage with their last performance at the Hi-Fi Rock Fest in Long Beach, as well as a 2015 date at the Observatory in Santa Ana. But honestly, we can’t think of the last time they played Los Angeles! Lucky for all you LA punk’s, the Dead Kennedys will be at the Echoplex this coming July.

In addition to their loss Angeles date at the Echoplex, Dead Kennedys will also perform at Brick by Brick in San Diego, as well as the House of Blues Anaheim. For more Dead Kennedys tour dates visit their website.

While famed front-man Jello Biafra parted ways from the Dead Kennedys in 1986, Skip McSkipter has been holding down the vocal since 2008. Original DK members East Bay Ray, and Klaus Fluoride are still reppin’, along with drummer D.H. Peligro who joined DK in 1981 after replacing original drummer Ted Bruce Slesinger.

Tickets to Dead Kennedys at the Echoplex are priced at $28.50 Advance / $32 Day of Show and the show is all-ages. Tickets on on sale this Friday, May 19 at 10am. There is a Spaceland pre-sale on Tuesday, May 16 at 10am.
