Hot on the heels of their new album, Portugal. The Man have shared their new song “Rich Friends.” The song immediatly sizzles with a soulful howl before strutting into its funky beat and addictive chorus: “I can really, really, use a rich rich friend like you.” The mid-album song is about “the tendency of the old and moneyed to leech off of the young and hungry. Or maybe John’s still working through issues with his dad. Tough to tell.”

Portugal. The Man have a headline Los Angeles date scheduled for Saturday, July 29 at the Hollywood Palladium. Opening for Portugal. The Man will be Benjamin Booker (who is also really fucking good). This is a show not to be missed!
