Amber Renee and Graham Marsh, the best-friend duo behind alt-pop act CLAVVS have shared the title track from their upcoming debut EP No Saviors and it’s the midnight stereo-burner we deserve. In the vein of other dark synth-pop meditators like Banks and Phantogram, CLAVVS build their electronic ballad on a take-no-prisoners sentiment as Renee gives voice to vengeful empowerment. “No Saviors” piles on this phoenix rise from the ashes with a dizzying array of burning electronica: “I rise from the smoke / I don’t fall I float.” It’s the kind of song you’d let blow-out your speakers as you burn rubber down the motorway lost in all manners of introspection but also speaks to the idea that the only person you should wholly rely upon to save you is yourself. Their EP is out March 22 and will bring with it four new songs to CLAVVS discography that will exist in a similar place as “No Saviors,” fully embellished with the kind electric pop-hooks and danceable pieces that they have a knack for.

CLAVVS will be playing a string of dates this March in anticipation and celebration of their upcoming EP, including a stop at The Echo in Los Angeles on March 17 and their free album release party at Gold Diggers in Los Angeles on March 19. Visit their website and Facebook to stay updated on new music and tour announcements.
