Judging by the bassline of the new song and their January EP, Alarm Will Sound, James Supercave has matured into a smooth rock group comparable to Unknown Mortal Orchestra. They have always had a fun edge, producing energetic songs since 2012, but now their sound is focused, not to mention sensual. “Falling” sounds like a dive into love; the art features dripping condensation proving that the track’s temperature just keeps climbing.
