Another drive-in concert is coming to Southern California! Just a few days ago we shared the upcoming drive-in concert featuring Los Lobos and Mariachi El Bronx. Now, Andrew McMahon will be joining the social distanced drive-in concerts with two performances at the City National Grove of Anaheim on July 10 and 11. The drive-in concert is all-ages and will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Jack’s Mannequin album Everything in Transit, which McMahon will play in full, along with songs from The Wilderness and Something Corporate.
“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be performing 2 live shows at the City National Grove of Anaheim on July 10 and 11 to kick off Drive-In OC. In a time where shows are scarce, this is an opportunity for us to gather safely and celebrate live music under the stars. It also felt like the perfect time to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of “Everything In Transit”, which my band and I will be playing front-to-back, in addition to other favorite songs from The Wilderness and Something Corporate.” – Andrew McMahon
Tickets to Andrew McMahon at City National Grove of Anaheim go on sale Friday, June 19. Pre-sale will take place June 18. You can grab tickets here.
Editor’s note: June 19 is also a very important date known as Juneteenth. This day, especially in light of the Black Lives Matter revolution should be observed to celebrate Black people in the United States. Grimy Goods will be observing Juneteenth on June 19 and only sharing content from African American artists. We hope our music community realizes the importance of this day and what should and should not be promoted.
