Frankie and the Witch Fingers have been kicking up dust since for nearly a decade, and their noisy catalog has been buzzing steadily in fans’ ears for just as long. After moving from Bloomington, IN, the group has earned a strong following in the psychedelic recesses of Los Angeles, a place they now call home. Their new single “Sweet Freak” will appear on their forthcoming album, Monsters Eating People Eating Monsters…, and the video is a claymation nightmare—exactly what the witch doctor ordered.

Pre-order MEPEM ahead of its October 2nd release from one of the exclusive label partnerships to get your favorite vinyl pressing; splatter designs include “Primordial Ooze” and “Fruity Pebbles,” and special color pressings include the pink and black “Head Splitter,” as well as 180-gram green, pink, and yellow. According to Spotify, Frankie’s already got five studio albums under their belts, and their forthcoming LP is shaping up to be their cleanest work yet. The band has molded their carefree rockabilly instincts into edgy acid punk.

“Cavehead,” previously available as a 7” single, is a polyrhythmic ride unlike any of their work prior, and “Sweet Freak” is a formal introduction to the revamped Witch Finger realm.

Monsters Eating People Eating Monsters… is meant to be repeated infinitely, as if its own vicious (and predictable) cycle. Frankie doesn’t distinguish between them—monsters or people, we’ll all suffer the same fate eventually. So why not live dangerously?

Pre-order all six of the special neon vinyl pressings of Monsters Eating People Eating Monsters… or grab other merch on the band’s website. Follow Frankie and the Witch Fingers on Instagram and Twitter.
