NYIKO Welcomes the Splendid Serendipity of Love With New Single and Upcoming LP

Striking a chord right at the heartstrings, Los Angeles based artist NYIKO finds a resonating tone in the key of love with his new single “Make You Feel.”

Bathed in the waters of 80s new wave, “Make You Feel” reverberates with a sweeping synth sound reminiscent of the likes of The Cure and other great new wave bands of the 80s and 90s. This familiar sound is paired with modern production and vulnerable but confident lyrics, capturing the tone of hopeful love and youthful inhibition.

“I wrote “Make You Feel” during a spell of nostalgia,” NYIKO said. ”I was thinking back on crushes I had when I was younger and that intense feeling you get with young love – like the whole world revolves around that one person. I wanted the song to have a sense of urgency – like a soundtrack to the experience of telling someone you love them for the first time.”

“Make You Feel” is just the latest single from NYIKO, whose new album ‘Honesty’ is set to drop April 9.
