LION BABE drops a bubbly new track titled “Frida Kahlo,” in honor of the influential artist’s spirit that so authentically nurtured her pain and creativity. The new song is full of those bright and vibrant summer vibes, but to the core, LION BABE ultimately honors Frida Kahlo. “It is a celebration of her fearless authenticity.” Accompanying the new song is a gorgeously colorful video that sees LION BABE’s Lead vocalist Jillian Hervey assuming the persona of Frida Kahlo.

Directed by Charlotte Scalpari and LION BABE, the video is a calypso color explosion telling listeners “if you’re trying to be someone, go look where you came from, its all there for you.” With Hervey’s hair adorned in a vibrant assortment of flowers and a bedazzled unibrow, her graceful roar shines magnificently in this joyful new track and video.
