Sometimes we think we know what we want, but when it comes down to it, we are looking for something totally different. binki describes that exact feeling in “Clay Pigeon”. The eccentric indie artist sings of wanting a partner to open up to him, yet he has come to realize he is just not willing to do the same. With jangly guitars and thumping drums you feel a magnetic energy serge through the song. The talent admits, “I was in a situation where I was more focused on my dreams than building a relationship. I think it happens to a lot of people and I’m just trying to navigate those feelings in this song.”

The fast-paced video directed by his brother Justin Ongeri, is the perfect backdrop to his grungy tune. The visuals showcase everything from video games and a soccer scrimmage to skin care and it is definitely a vibe. Listeners are easily sucked into this unique offering that is just as delightfully quirky as he is.

binki is known for his penetrating music exuding colorful originality. Now he announces the release of his new album MOTOR FUNCTION out August 13th  via FADER Label.  Within this upcoming release there is so much raw emotion and electrifying groove. Produced by Justin and Jeremiah Raisen (Yves Tumor, Charlie XCX), each of its bold tracks are seeped in a strong sense of kinetic importance. “Clay Pigeon” portrays that same dynamic quality.
