With a fast paced melody, spitfire lyrics and vocal performances, spill tab’s newest single “Indecisive” is an inventive, tongue twisting delight. Featuring Tommy Genesis, the tune is sharp, funky and layered in rich texture. Also spill tab’s first release since April, the single comes with the announcement of her sophomore EP, due out this fall via Arista Records.

Blending a range of feelings, sound and tones together in her music, “Indecisive” is more asymmetric than her previous release, “Anybody Else,” but is also still indicative of the artist, aptly skilled at piecing together a variety of elements to make a unique song driven by silky smooth vocals.
“My producer and I wanted to make something with dummy fast drums and we sort of just went from there,” notes spill tab. “We had all the sections we wanted but were missing a verse, and I just really wanted someone to rap over it and go hard, and I also didn’t want it to be me. I think my team sent the song over to Tommy’s camp and she loved it and was down to hop on it, and I’ve been a phat fan of her stuff and her new song too, so it was a divine match made in heaven.”
The project of Los Angeles-based, French-Korean artist Claire Chicha, spill tab has carved a niche for herself in the landscape of post pop/alt-pop angst where rose colored glasses meet a listless tinge. Teaming up with producer David Marinelli, she began releasing music in 2019 and in December, 2020 released her debut EP, Oatmilk which was positively received. Singing in English and sometimes French, spill tab creates layers of intricacy in her music, capturing moods and emoting them with careful prowess.
