Bassist, multi-facet musician-extraoirdinaire, Thundercat has announced tour dates with a Los Angeles concert at SoFi Stadium on July 31, supporting Red Hot Chili Peppers, alongside Beck. Additional Thundercat tour dates include nearby L.A. shows at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas (July 25), Petco Park in San Diego (July 27), Levi’s Stadium in Sant Clara (July 29), and many more tour dates, including music festivals Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa and FORMAT Festival. Tickets to Thundercat at SoFi Stadium are on sale now. Thundercat’s new tour dates go on sale this Friday, May 6 at 10am.
Thundercat is the stage and recording name of American R&B, jazz fusion, electronic, and psychedelic, bass player Stephen Bruner. Based in Los Angeles, Thundercat most recently released a new track titled “satellite” featuring Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi which was featured on Insecure season 5. Stream the jam below.
