When Do Lionel Richie Tickets Go On Sale?
Tickets to Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire will go on sale to the general public on Monday, March 13 at 10am, however, fans can get their tickets early through a variety of presales starting Tuesday, March 7 through Sunday, March 12 at 10pm.
How Much Are Lionel Richie Tickets?
Tickets to Lionel Richie will cost anywhere from $40 to $500 and up for standard general admission tickets. VIP tickets will also be available and include a variety of perks including premium tickets, access to the pre-show VIP lounge, limited edition tour poster, specially designed VIP gift item & more. Citi is the official card of the Sing A Song All Night Long tour. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, March 7 at 10am local time until Sunday, March 12 at 10pm local time. If you have a Citi card, you can take part in this presale. Select your tour date, and use the first 6 digits of your Citi® credit card or Citibank® Debit Card as the presale code.
A Lionel Richie Fan Club Presale will begin Wednesday, March 8 at 10am local time and will run through Sunday, March 12 at 10pm. Sign up for Richie’s newsletter to receive the code or check back with us later.
Also, an Earth, Wind & Fire Artist Presale will take place Wednesday, March 8 at 10am local time until Sunday, March 12 at 10pm. Sign up for their email list to received the presale password or check back with us later.

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?
If you’re seeing very expensive tickets that are not VIP, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are very expensive and are offered well over the standard ticket prices. They’re the kind of ticket pricing that is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) has priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down, and it usually goes up.
Artists can choose not to offer Official Platinum or limit the amount for charity purposes. The Cure, Pearl Jam and U2 have all been recognized as artists that don’t use these dynamic pricing tactics.
Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert very easy if you’re willing to shed the extra coin. They can be bought during a presale without a presale code (doesn’t always apply to Verified Fan). Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.
If money is not an object, you should definitely bank on the convenience of getting Official Platinum tickets.
