Tate McRae will kick off the Are We Flying tour in Chicago, beginning a 20-city run across North America. This will include stops at California venues like the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and San Francisco’s The Masonic, as well as a ton of other west coast performances and tour dates to choose from.

Calgary-born singer/songwriter Tate McRae is bringing the anthemic confessionals that filled her alt-pop debut album i used to think i could fly on the road with her. Released just last year, the record introduced the artist’s capacity for penning lucidly raw introspections and a penchant for hitching them to an eclectic mixture of genres, from lofty acoustics to explosively fierce pop-punk and trap.

If you want to get ahold of your Tate McRae tickets early, you have quite a few options to do so!

Citi Presale

The Citi presale will open on Wednesday, June 21st at 10am local time through Wednesday, June 21st at 10pm.

First, you should select your preferred tour date for Tate McRae and bookmark the page. It is important to note that you will need to be a Citi card member to access this presale. If you are the owner of a Citi debit or credit card, you must register here before Sunday, June 18th at 10pm local time to enter for a chance to receive a unique access code. The day before the presale begins you will receive an email letting you know whether you’ve been selected or placed on a waitlist. You may receive an invite to join the presale if tickets are still available.

Artist Presale

The artist presale starts Thursday, June 22nd at 10am local time and ends Thursday, June 22nd at 10pm.

After deciding on your desired Tate McRae tour date, you will want to register for the artist presale before it closes on Sunday, June 18th at 10pm local time. Once registration closes fans will be randomly selected and the day before the presale starts they will be sent an email containing either a unique access code or a spot on the waitlist.

VIP Package Presale

The VIP Package presale begins on Friday, June 23rd at 10am local time and runs through Friday, June 23rd at 10pm.

This presale will offer fans access to the different VIP packages and experiences on the Tate Mcrae tour. What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
