BRATTY has shared a new song from her forthcoming album TR3S with the dreamily kinetic track “Estos Días.” It’s the latest preview she’s shared of the new record, which arrives sometime in November, following the release of its anthemic lead single “Radio.” But gearing up for the drop of a third LP is only the cherry on top of a hotly prolific year for the project — the brainchild of Sinaloan artist Jenny Juárez. She also completed her features-filled EP Es Mi Fiesta Y Si Quiero Hago Un earlier this year and released the driving indie-rock single “Voy en Auto” (feat. Andru).

Unlike the electrifying “Radio,” the second single to be unveiled from TR3S is a subdued but sleek meander through BRATTY’s inner thoughts. “Estos Días” sees her speaking rather candidly about the dangerous dullness and monotony that can fill our daily lives, as well as the apathy it can lead to. “It’s a song I made thinking about the passage of time,” BRATTY explained. “Feeling trapped in a day-to-day loop, the inability to make decisions, and the fear of being left alone.” While also expressing a desire to focus more on her mental health.

The new single also comes with a music video that visualizes the inertness that weighs heavily upon this lugubrious pop ballad. It opens with a wide aerial shot of BRATTY sitting on some steps and putting on her headphones, ready to lose herself in the music as she wanders the city.

The solitary nature of the video is made all the more potent by its elevated point of view. While the artist’s earnest yearning is also magnified as she stares up wistfully at the camera, shuffling dolefully to its crashing finale as if trying to shake off her indifference. BRATTY’s discography is a veritable collection of jams with which to keep oneself warm against life’s coldness and “Estos Días” is no different.
