The band will kick off their tour at The Observatory North Park in San Diego and the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas before heading to the east coast which will include two nights at Brooklyn Steel in New York. Sleater-Kinney’s new tour dates come in support of their forthcoming album eleventh studio album Little Rope, which arrives just a month before they disembark on January 19th via Loma Vista Recordings. With both announcements comes the record’s lead single and music video in the form of “Hell,” a rip-roaring and grief-stricken blistering of guitars. The music video, directed by Ashley Connor and starring Miranda July, is a haunting monochromatic immersion into its frantic intimacy. Yet the coming album is also one painted by tragedy’s aftermath — one that both Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker find themselves navigating with rousing clarity.
