TOOL has announced a special series of new U.S. tour dates that will take them coast-to-coast next year. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 13th at 10am local time. Fans can access a variety of presales as early as Wednesday, October 11th at 10am local time. The tour starts on the East Coast at Baltimore’s MD CFG Bank Arena before spending two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City. From there the band will head westward to play in arenas and stadiums across the country, including the Denver’s Ball Arena and the Footprint Center in Phoenix. They’ll also be performing multiple dates in California with two nights at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles and following it up with a stop at the Toyota Arena in Ontario. The TOOL Army presale opens to members on Wednesday, October 11th at 10am local time. Once you’ve selected your preferred TOOL tour date, you must register via the band’s official website to receive information regarding your presale code.

VIP Packages Presale

A VIP Packages presale opens on Wednesday, October 11th at 10am local time. Once you’ve received your presale code and have chosen a TOOL tour date, check out some of the perks of going VIP. There are four different tiers of VIP — Invincible Front Row, Pneuma, Fear Inoculum, 7empest — each with its own perks. These include front-row reserved seating, group photos with the band, commemorative tickets, and exclusive merchandise.

Official Platinum Presale

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
