Alabama-born Flo Milli has earned a reputation for dishing out irreverent bars with a glittery bite. With the announcement of her 16-date THANKS FOR BEING HERE, HO tour now’s your chance to catch her when she makes her way to The Novo in Los Angeles on October 22nd. Earlier this year, the 23-year-old rap prodigy released her swaggering debut album You Still Here, Ho? which arrived as the crowning jewel of her quick but momentous ascent.

Milli was just nine years old when she saw Nicki Minaj in one of her music videos on BET. Not long afterward, she started writing her own rhymes, picking up the microphone just three years later to form the all-girl hip-hop group Real & Beautiful. By 2019, the crew had separated, but Milli was pushing full steam ahead with her first single, “Beef FloMix” — a remix of Ethereal and Playboi Carti’s Soundcloud deep cut “Beef.”

Capitalizing on the viral success of that introduction, she dropped her debut mixtape Ho, why is you here? in 2020. Bolstering her already infectious bravado with a slew of brazen and bratty tracks like “Pockets Bigger” and “Not Friendly.” Wielding the snarky sass of a pop star, she revealed herself to be more than just a one-hit wonder.

Instead, she established herself as a fearsomely bubbly MC armed to the teeth with eviscerating bars and transfixing trap beats. Since then, she’s been featured on numerous tracks and topped stages typically out of reach for other emerging rappers, coming full circle with a debut performance at the MTV Video Music Award in 2022 and Coachella back in April.

She returned this past summer with You Still Here, Ho? — a cheeky nod to her first mixtape — which arrived in deluxe form as a massive 20-track album. Songs like “Conceited” and “Do It Better” maintain her brash charm, while “Come Outside” and “F.N.G.M.” find her still eagerly taking a bite out of the haters and raising herself up in the process.
