Paramore has shared they will no longer perform at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO 2024. The band was slated to headline the annual alt and indie rock event for January 13, 2024 at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Taking the place of Paramore will be Fall Out Boy.

The announcement arrives just a week after Paramore wiped their Instagram content clean and took their website down. If you were to check Paramore’s official website, you would receive a 404 page error.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paramore can no longer attend and perform at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO on January 13. The band apologizes for any inconvenience.”

According to a recent UpRoxx article, the band members “agreed that there’s a level of uncertainty” in terms of their future.

“The only thing that matters is we will still get to be each other’s community,” the publication quoted Williams as saying.

Whether that means the band is breaking up, taking a hiatus or restructuring is still unknown.

Paramore is scheduled as the opening act for Taylor Swift’s UK and EU segments of her global tour in 2024.
