The Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour will make stops in 44 cities including Chicago, Toronto, New York, Houston, and Los Angeles. Performances in California will take place at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.

Those in the Golden State can also see both bands at a warm-up pit stop at the iconic Whisky a Go Go nightclub on the Sunset Strip on February 1st before the tour officially kicks off. Offering fans the unparalleled chance to see Train and REO Speedwagon in an impossibly intimate setting they’ll likely not return to anytime soon. Joining them for all dates will be Yacht Rock Revue who will share their odes to classics by Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Toto, Michael McDonald, and others.

Additionally, the bands will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The show airs on ABC at 11:35p/10:35c, and is available next day on Hulu.

Of the tour, Train frontman Pat Monahan shared: “When I was younger I heard a band called REO Speedwagon and fell in love with their numerous, infectious hit songs. Years later I met Kevin Cronin, and thank goodness he’s as great a person as he is a songwriter. This tour won’t just be a great time with great people, but a tour that will have a ton of familiar songs to most generations. I will be wishing I was in the audience as much as I’ll love being on the stage.”

REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin said: “Pat Monahan and I have done several benefit shows over the years, and now we get to take out our bands for a summer full of music and fun. First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!
