VIAL “apathy”
VIAL let rip a maelstrom of frenzied power punk on their new single “apathy,” the latest preview of the trio’s forthcoming new album burnout. Harnessing a withering gust of scorched riffs, the song embodies all that is undeniably intoxicating about their music and its delightfully bellicose temperament. This time, VIAL mulls over the frustration of realizing their collective rage toward an ex-lover has fizzled into cruel indifference. “I’ve forgotten how to care about / Anything in relation to you,” wrestling with this betrayal of emotion even as they still tear the object of their stagnate fury to shreds. “This apathy is overwhelming / And I hate it ’cause it’s much long overdue.”
burnout the new album from VIAL arrives on March 29th via Get Better Records. See them at El Cid in Los Angeles on May 23rd.

J Noa “Era De Cristal”
J Noa made a name for herself in tackling all the trials and tribulations faced by her generation through her music — especially while growing up in San Cristóbal. The drop of her new single “Era De Cristal” finds her delving unapologetically into the mentally taxing and physically immobilizing realities of depression. Once more, the rap virtuoso sharpens her eviscerating bars by aiming them inward, unloading an honest recap of the heft of faith required just to persist daily when their mental health is waning. The track comes with an equally arresting music video directed by Lennyn Salinas that delivers a visceral visualization of those oppressive feelings and thoughts.
“For me, it was important to touch on this very personal topic that people do not understand,” she told Remezcla. “A person with depression cannot be ignored. I felt that I needed to talk about this topic because I have gone through it, and I also felt ignored when I needed help.”

Tash “for you pages”
Tash unveils her second new song of the year with the release of “for you pages,” the most recent in a long line of singles she’s been steadily sharing since her debut album arrived back in 2020. Each one has afforded us an intimate and pristine glimpse at the singer/songwriter’s growth, and the latest imbues her effervescent pop with soulful energy. One that calls to mind previous releases like “The Luka Song,” though this time, Tash unburdens herself over a sultry bass line caressed by neo-soul instrumentals. Upping the tempo of her characteristically heart-on-the-sleeve lyricism, her voice is at once lustrous and mesmerizing as it coils around the song’s groove-effusing melody.
