Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and multi-GRAMMY Award winner Sting is heading out on a special run of North American dates this year for his STING 3.0 Tour. Tickets for the tour will be available through a general onsale on Friday, March 15th at 10am local time. However, presale tickets can be purchased right now. The STING 3.0 Tour will visit major cities in the U.S. for multiple nights. It kicks off with a double-header at the Filmore Detroit followed by performances at The Met in Philadelphia and The Masonic in San Francisco. For a grand finale, all roads lead to The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Other stops on the tour include Brooklyn, Miami, Chicago, and more.

Joined by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, the upcoming tour will showcase the power trio at the center of Sting’s iconic and decades-spanning catalog. First as the frontman and songwriter for The Police, then via his immensely successful and equally storied solo career. Fans can expect him to bring out all the hits including “Englishman in New York,” “Fields of Gold,” and “Desert Rose.”

Last year he toured across North America for his My Songs World Tour and performed on massive stages like the Hollywood Bowl. With multiple nights in the same city, this is quite possibly your best chance to catch the legendary talents of Sting in concert and (depending on the date) the bonus of seeing him at the kind of intimate venues he normally doesn’t play.

Sting will also appear at this year’s BeachLife Festival in May!

When Do Sting Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets for Sting go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 15th at 10am local time.

The VIP Packages presale started Monday, March 11th at 1pm local time.

What Is The Sting Presale Code?

Tickets for the Sting 3.0 Tour will go quickly — ensure you get tickets by utilizing one of the several presales listed below! Both the VIP and Sting Fan presales have opened.

VIP Packages Presale

The VIP Packages presale has started! No presale code is needed to purchase VIP tickets. Once you find your preferred Sting tour date just choose from one of the three VIP packages (Ultimate, Premium, Gold). Perks will vary but include access to a pre-show VIP lounge (appetizers, drink vouchers, and a photo-op), a VIP gift item, a limited edition poster, reserved parking, a dedicated VIP entrance, and more.

Sting Fan Presale

The Sting fan presale is now live! In order to get the presale code you will have to subscribe to Sting’s Fan Club on his official website. Once you’re a member you should receive the access code to purchase your Sting tickets.

Official Platinum Presale

The Official Platinum presale begins on Tuesday, March 12th at 10am local time. You won’t have to use a presale code to participate in this presale. Citi® Cardmember Presale

The Citi® Cardmember presale takes place on Tuesday, March 12th at 10am local time. You must be a Citi cardholder to join this presale. Once you’ve decided on a tour date for Sting use the first 6 digits of either your Citi credit card or Citibank Debit Card will serve as the presale code.

Promoter Presale

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
