The Used are bringing their rock anthems to cities around North America with the announcement of a summer headlining tour. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 22nd at 10am local time. But why wait? The upcoming tour will take The Used up and down the east coast of both the U.S. and Canada. Stops include Hard Rock Casino in Gary, IN, The Masonic Temple in Cleveland, OH, and Power Plant Live in Baltimore, MD. They will also appear at several music festivals including Phase Fest and Born and Raised Fest as well as this year’s When We Were Young in Las Vegas, NV.

The Used released their ninth studio album in 2023 with the drop of Toxic Positivity, a record that viscerally explored everything from depression to addiction, resulting in one of their most howlingly honest projects to date. They will be joined on select dates by guests Story Of The Year and Amira Elfeky — making this a truly special and nostalgic follow-up to last year’s co-headlining tour with Pierce The Veil. For their part, SOTY released a new album Tear Me To Pieces (2023) as well, while Elfeky unveiled her first single of the year with “A Dozen Roses.” Both are required listening before you catch them opening up for The Used.
“Stoked to be touring with some of our oldest friends in the industry,” said vocalist Bert McCracken. “We’ve always been huge fans of Big Blue Monkey! Can’t wait to see Amira Elfeky live as well!!!”
“The Used have been big brothers to Story Of The Year for over 20 years,” admitted Story Of The Year frontman Dan Marsala. “They were the one of first bands to take us on tour after we finished Page Avenue and they played a big part in SOTY becoming the band we are today. I’ve always admired how The Used were the fearless leaders of our early 2000s scene and I’m so proud of the friendship that we built so many years ago. Official Platinum Presale
The Official Platinum presale starts on Wednesday, March 20th at 10am local time. You won’t have to track down a presale code to purchase these tickets for The Used. The artist presale opens on Wednesday, March 20th at 10am local time. All you need to do to get access to the artist presale is select a tour date for The Used and then use their presale code to buy your tickets: MEDZ.
Promoter Presale
The Live Nation presale begins on Wednesday, March 20th at 10am local time. To participate in the promoter presale find The Used tour date you would like to attend and then enter the presale code when prompted: KEY.

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?
If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.
Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.
Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets
First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.
Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!
What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?
If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.
Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
