Slipknot is heading out on a 25th anniversary run in celebration of their self-titled debut album, which irrevocably altered the world of rock-n-roll when it arrived in 1999. The Here Comes The Pain Tour will hit venues around North America, including Madison Square Garden in New York and Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. They will also perform in Toronto, Phoenix, Dallas, and elsewhere.

Multiple presales for Slipknot’s upcoming tour have already gone live, such as VIP and Artist presales! A general onsale will also begin on Friday, May 3rd at 10am local time.

In addition to their tour, Slipknot will also make a special homecoming appearance at Knotfest Iowa, a festival they created back in 2012 that has since become the crown jewel of their tours. This year they are looking to give back to their fans in a big way, performing their first album and a litany of hits from their massive catalog. They will also be bringing plenty of special guests with them including Knocked Loose, with Orbit Culture and Vended joining them on select dates.

“We loved what we did with the first record but we didn’t even know if there was gonna be anything after that,” said guitarist Jim Root. “We just wanted people to hear it. Selling out of records and shows, having successful tours– those are goals for any band. But the dream scenario in some ways, came true for us.”

Found member Shawn “Clown” Crahan also shared his gratitude: “Every time I’ve walked on stage, it’s never been about how many people have been there because my culture, the maggots, always show up.”

“But as we’ve grown as a band, we have had fewer and fewer of those intimate, personal moments, trading them for massive ones. So we’re gonna make it more personal on the anniversary, but how remains to be seen! Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, spread that maggot culture – that disease. And you’ve been infected.”

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
