David Gilmour will perform his first live appearances in eight years this fall with four special shows that will serve as his only dates in North America this year. Fans in the U.S. will have the opportunity to see the rock legend during back-to-back concerts. It all starts on the West Coast with two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, October 29th, and Wednesday, October 30th. He will then head east to Madison Square Garden in New York, NY between November 4-5th.
Tickets for the general public will be available on Friday, May 17th at 10am local time. However, you’re going to want to try snagging tickets ahead of time through the various presales kicking off Wednesday, May 15th at 10am local time.

Gilmour has also revealed that his new album Luck And Strange will be released on September 6th via Sony Music. The fifth solo studio album from the Pink Floyd singer/songwriter and guitarist, it was recorded over five months in the U.K. and like his new tour represents a momentous return, arriving as his first new material in nine years.
Thus far “The Piper’s Call” has been the only single shared of the eight-track collection. It will also feature a cover of “Between Two Points” by The Montgolfier Brothers. Co-written with longtime collaborator Polly Samson, the record will explore mortality and reflect on the perspectives afforded by age. “We spent a load of time during and after lockdown talking about and thinking about those kind of things,” Gilmour explained.
Joining Gilmour as part of his touring band will be Guy Pratt (bass/backing vocals), Greg Phillinganes (keyboards), Rob Gentry (keyboards), Adam Betts (drums), Ben Worsley (guitar), Louise Marshall (backing vocals), Hattie Webb (backing vocals), and Charlie Webb (backing vocals).

Tickets to David Gilmour are priced at $75 to $350 + service fees. VIP tickets are also available starting at $475 and going up to $825 + service fees. Official Platinum tickets are currently priced at $750.

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?
If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.
Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.
Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets
First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.
Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!
What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?
If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee.
