BEST NEW MUSIC

In 2020, the Growlers went on an indefinite hiatus after sexual misconduct allegations were made against them. The band has since not performed together, although Brooks Nielsen has been selling out shows since his return to the stage in 2022 at the Ventura Music Hall and two nights at The Roxy. Since then, he’s consistently sold-out medium-sized venues like the Wiltern. His previously announced All Growlers show at the Hollywood Palladium for Oct. 19 sold out almost instantly, and his upcoming doubleheader at The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever also sold out.
