When fans heard the news, many outside of Los Angeles, particularly those on the East Coast, were upset that the concert wasn’t taking place in the Garden State, aka New Jersey.

Braff shared in various Instagram comments that “this charity is close to my heart. And I live in LA. I wanted to ‘act locally.'”

The actor also shared that he’s “working on a live stream” of the event. “It’s complicated, but I’ve got 5 months. Ha.”
