UPDATED Jan. 29, 2025
As fires ravaged much of Los Angeles this past week, specifically in Altadena and Pacific Palisades, the Los Angeles music community has come together strong to support those in a time of dire need. Many of us continue to mourn the loss of our communities as we attempt to heal and rebuild. Adding to the support of rebuilding, L.A. music artists, bands, venues, and promoters have shown up with an abundance of fire relief benefit concerts in Los Angeles, and this is just the beginning.
The listing below will be updated daily as more fire benefit concerts in L.A. get announced. Check back often for updates or subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Threads and Instagram.
Our Los Angeles music community has been instrumental in this time of need. In the past week alone we’ve seen the efforts by independent music venues like Zebulon, The Regent, Scribble, Junior High, Brain Dead Studios, Vidiots, Bob Baker Marrionette, and Highland Park Bowl not only cancel all their shows, but transform their spaces into donation and support centers. Sadly, venues like Moonshadows in Malibu suffered a complete loss.
The LA Phil, home to the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, and The Walt Disney Concert Hall, went above and beyond with their wildfire recovery efforts. This includes the creation of the Los Angeles Music Fund, as well as the LA Phil’s partnership with the LA County Parks and Recreation Care Camps. This initiative has already helped hundreds of displaced families in need (including my daughter, who lost her school to the fires in Altadena). These very fun camps spread across L.A. have been crucial for kids without a home and/or school. We are so grateful.
