UPDATE FEB. 19, 2025: Tate McRae Adds 23 New Tour Dates with a Third Show in Los Angeles — Here’s How To Get Presale Tickets

Tate McRae has announced a very special album release show in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum parking lot on Thursday, February 20. The pop star is celebrating the release of her third studio album, So Close to What, by giving fans the first chance to hear Tate McRae perform songs off her new album before the album gets released on Friday, February 21.

The album release event will have many other fun and tasty stuff, including food trucks, photo installations, exclusive event merchandise, and more.

Fans can attend Tate McRae’s album release event at the Kia Forum on Thursday, February 20, for just $8 a ticket! This includes fees. All you have to do is sign up to request your ticket to the event. If your request can be fulfilled, $8 will automatically be charged to your credit card. Instructions on how to access tickets will be sent from Ticketmaster. Fans can sign up now to request tickets through February 13th at 10pm PT.

Ticket confirmations will be sent out by the evening of Friday, February 14. If your ticket request is confirmed, tickets will automatically be delivered to your Ticketmaster account by the evening of Tuesday, February 18, and you will be notified by email when they are available. A mobile device is required for entry. 

Tate will donate 100% of the ticket revenue to LA fire relief, supporting the FireAid organization. FireAid’s nonprofit 501(c)(3) status is pending and subject to IRS determination in accordance with established tax law.

Like McRae’s American Express presale for her tour, some tickets will be reserved for eligible Amex Card Members to purchase. Members must use their Amex when submitting their ticket request to be eligible for those tickets. Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster Reserve on February 12th at 9am PT for $8.

Additionally, American Express Card Members will have exclusive one-hour early access to the venue beginning at 6pm before doors open to the public. Other Amex Card Member perks include an exclusive Tate McRae t-shirt for purchase and a Card Member Express Checkout at on-site merch stands. Fans who are unable to attend the event can watch the livestream through TikTok. Those watching on the app can purchase an exclusive picture disk, as well as CDs and vinyl, on TikTok Shop during the livestream.

The Album Release Event will pop off before Tate McRae’s sold-out Miss Possessive Tour, featuring 57 dates across South America, Europe, the UK, and North America. The tour begins on March 18 in Mexico City at the Pepsi Centre, with additional shows in São Paulo, London, Amsterdam, Prague, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, and more. GET TICKETS.
