Babebee has dropped a delicious new single, and we can’t get enough of it. Full of shoegaze splendor, Babebee’s new song “7 minutes in heaven” reminds of early 2000s shoegaze. With their signature sweet vocals, the NYC-based artist takes a step away from their experimental dance music and dives into a dreamy lush sound. The new song was produced by Babebee and Elliott Kozel.
Sounds like: Slowdive, Lush, and Mazzy Star.

“i wrote this song over 2 yrs ago,” Babebee shares on their social media. “i believe the meaning behind it ebbs and flows with time just like how life does. it could be your new love song, your breakup anthem, or just a song you listen to to pass the time. whichever meaning, remember that you’re so loved no matter what.”
Babebee’s upcoming album, All That Heaven Allows, is set to be released on April 4, 2025, through Lauren Records. Vinyl and shirts are available for preorder, and the first 50 orders will receive a free A PROPHECY poster and CD.
Babebee will perform in Los Angeles on April 5 as part of the GROWING UP IS DUMB event at the Echoplex.
We last caught Babebee live in 2024 at the Lodge Room opening for Hana Vu, and it was “an immersion into the alt-pop dreamworlds of their music.” Don’t miss their show!
