There’s something beautiful about the union of lullaby-like vocals and thunderous guitars. Phoenix, Arizona-based band Glixen drips with throwback shoegaze of years past. If Sigur Rós and My Bloody Valentine had a baby, it would sound like Glixen.

3. Ravyn Lenae
With an alternative R&B sound, the Chicago-born and Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Ravyn Lenae is a straight-up vibe. Her dulcet vocals, combined with electro downbeats, soulful melodies, and subtle instrumentals, bring the energy of any space she’s performing to a whole new level.

Glass Beams is undoubtedly where all the music snobs will be. If you wanna wild out, mosh, and dance your azz off — Fcukers is where it’s at. Already boasting the admiration of LCD Soundsystem, having opened for them on their recent tour, NYC-based trio Fcukers are already kicking down doors with just one EP, Baggy$$. Fcukers transcends typical pop-rock sounds from the indie scene, drawing inspiration from electronic music for a blend that is both riot-inducing and hypnotic. They give indie aughts dance-punk vibes.
