After the announcement of his highly anticipated memoir, Cat on the Road to Findout, Yusuf / Cat Stevens will launch a limited series of special live events across North America this fall, including a stop in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theater on October 21, 2025.
The Yusuf / Cat Stevens book tour will include a detailed discussion of his new memoir, accompanied by select unplugged performances of iconic songs that have influenced generations, providing an intimate exploration of the life and music of one of today’s most cherished and mysterious artists.
Fans can get presale tickets to Yusuf / Cat Stevens beginning Wednesday, May 21, at 10 a.m. local time through his artist presale. The artist presale will close at 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 22. Fans can sign up to join the artist presale.

Speaking about the book tour, Yusuf/Cat Stevens says: “Having passed through the exhaustingly complex maze of everyday material life, ascending the dizzying heights of wealth, recognition, and artistic achievements, I think I’ve got a few things to share. Keeping an open mind was part of the nature I instinctively maintained as a creative songwriter. Nothing was off-bounds. Music was a way of discovering my purpose within the universe. I just kept on exploring, reading, and learning more, ignoring myths and warnings and crossing dangerous-looking bridges into the vast ranges of philosophies and through the veils of the spiritual unknown.
Now I have written a book which explains what I’ve learned and the stories along the way. That doesn’t make me a teacher, but more of a potential specimen for those who are searching and pursuing happiness on all sides of the divide. Believe me, folks, it’s out there!”
Aside from being one of the most revered singer-songwriters, Yusuf / Cat Stevens is highly respected for his humanitarian and peace activism, for which he received numerous prestigious international honors, including the World Award for “humanitarian relief work helping children and victims of war” and the Man of Peace Award, voted for by The Nobel Peace Laureates. The artist has been a constant voice for oppressed Palestinians and uses his platform to speak up on the ongoing genocide.
The book tour begins on October 2 at The Met Philadelphia, with scheduled stops in Chicago, Boston, Toronto, New York City, San Francisco, and, of course, Los Angeles. Before this, Yusuf will host seven events in the U.K., starting on September 6 in Cambridge.
Yusuf also has a show with Neil Young and Van Morrison on July 11, 2025 in Hyde Park.
