Now, over 40 years after “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” first lit up your boomboxes, she’s giving you another chance to relive those core memories when Cyndi headlines the Hollywood Bowl for two nights on Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30. Grimy Goods has tickets to give away to Friday night’s show, courtesy of our friends at the Hollywood Bowl.

This isn’t a “maybe I’ll catch her next time” kind of deal. This is the farewell tour. Once it’s over, it’s over, well, for the most part. Cyndi has shared that she is retiring from being a touring artist, but that doesn’t mean she is retiring from music and may do occasional performances in the future. For example, she’s doing this special doubleheader at the Hollywood Bowl despite already taking her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell tour to Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome last November.
