Brigitte Calls Me Baby never disappoints. Their new song “Slumber Party” is a delicious indie rock banger with lead singer Wes Leavins’ signature, soon-worthy vocals that make you just want to melt. The song is the lead single off the band’s forthcoming album Irreversible, which will arrive on March 13 via ATO Records.

Like with many Brigitte Calls Me Baby songs, this one really hits the sweet spot for nostalgia, grabbing the ears of music lovers from every generation whether Gen Z or Gen X. “Slumber Party”, with its steady drums and jangly guitar particularly reminds of the early Indie rock days when there was so much excitement behind this new vibrant sound of rock ‘n’ roll. Think The Strokes meets Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand.

“Slumber Party” explores the human psyche, with Leavins sharing that he “wrote that song thinking about the type of people who isolate and ruminate, to the point where it becomes a chore to leave the home.”

The new song is the lead single from Brigitte Calls Me Baby’s sophomore album Irreversible. Produced by Yves Rothman and Lawrence Rothman (Blondshell, Yves Tumor), the new LP was recorded live at Lawrence’s home studio and is set for release on March 13 through ATO Records.

Brigitte Calls Me Baby is also headed on tour in 2026! So if you missed their last Los Angeles date at the Wiltern in 2024, here’s your next chance to see a band that is surely going to blow up. Brigitte Calls Me Baby will perform at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles on April 30. Tickets go on sale for this show and all other tour dates on Friday, January 16.
