Legendary Beastie Boys member, Mike D, has announced two small club shows in the Los Angeles area. Fans with Coachella blinders on might’ve missed the news that Mike D performed a secret show at the Ojai Valley Woman’s Club during Coachella weekend, leaving those in the know with major FOMO. Mike D performed with his sons and their band, Very Nice Person. And it looks like they will be performing with their Father once again.
Now, fans have a couple more chances to see the icon live. Mike D will perform at the Plaza Night Club & Dance Hall this Thursday, May 7. The small club holds about 299 people.
Next, he’ll take the stage at the new Sid the Cat Auditorium in South Pasadena on Sunday, May 10.
Tickets to both shows were offered on Dice for only $35 with service fees of only $2.06. How nice is that? You don’t see those kinds of prices anymore. Not with that Live Nation-Ticketmaster monopoly lording over all.

While both shows sold out nearly instantly, fans can join the waitlist for both the Plaza Night Club (show starts at 7:30 p.m.) and Sid The Cat (show starts at 7 p.m.). Additional shows were announced in Brooklyn and Paris.
To be able to witness right before your eyes and ears, that iconic voice, whether performing his new music and/or the classic Beastie Boys we all grew up listening to, these performances are going to be ones for the books.
So, get ready to shake your rump, especially if you are now a boomin’ granny.
